Yet Another Spectacular Climate Fail Posted on November 12, 2015 by tonyheller Climate experts say Hudson Bay polar bears are threatened by disappearing sea ice. ![]() ![]() Global Warming and Polar Bears – National Wildlife Federation Hudson Bay sea ice has been above normal almost all year. ![]() Product – Product Search – Canadian Ice Service All of the Hudson Bay Polar Bear populations are increasing. ![]() The truth about polar bears In Davis Strait, between Greenland and Baffin Island, the polar bear population has grown from 900 animals in the late 1970s to around 2,100 today. In Foxe Basin — a portion of northern Hudson Bay — a population that was estimated to be 2,300 in the early 2000s now stands at 2,570. And in specific areas of western Hudson Bay, the most-studied, most-photographed group of bears on Earth seems to have been on a slow but steady increase since in the 1970s. The truth about polar bears – Canadian Geographic Organizations like the National Wildlife Federation raise money by scaring people, which frequently means lying to them. LINK |

Good Lord, you're Gullible. From the original article:
The bottom line is, some groups are doing quite well, others not so much. Overall, it's a slow decline. Saying the group around Churchill is doing well, where supplies are good and they can raid human sites, and therefore all Polar Bears are in good shape, is like looking at one snowstorm in midwinter and saying Global Warming is false. |

The OP was in response to the National Wildlife Federation information about the bears around the Hudson Bay region. Do you deny they have it wrong or not? |

I don't know what is going on there, I suspect the seals are extremely happy if the ice remains melted longer. It could be a shifting of weather patterns, a natural event throughout history. The bears will either move, adapt, or go extinct. It's the way of our planet. |
