What Climate Alarmists Want: 'A World Without Capitalism' Researchers from developed nations who insist that humans are warming the planet have inadvertently given Third World nations a weapon to shake down capitalist nations. Or was that the plan all along? Third World nations haven't developed their economies because their governments are often run by con men, thieves, killers and tyrants. While these governments never recognize that they are the problem, they do know an opportunity for a racket when they see one. Extortion often comes with a veneer of legitimacy, though, and that's what we have in a manifesto produced by Bolivia. It is ostensibly that country's contribution to the United Nations climate conference that begins later this month in Paris. But it's really a facade hiding a corrupt campaign. According to the Bolivian government, which takes its orders from extreme-left President Evo Morales, "the failed capitalist system, (which) promotes consumerism, warmongering and commercialism, causing the destruction of Mother Earth and humanity, (has) triggered the climate crisis." Good to know that. As for the solutions, they include "adoption of a new model of civilization in the world without consumerism, warmongering and mercantilism." Bolivia also wants "a world without capitalism." It also demands "protection of the Rights of Mother Earth" and the elimination of patents on technology. Furthermore, Bolivia wishes to "allocate the resources of the military machinery of the imperial powers and the warmongers to finance the activities of the peoples against climate change." What Bolivia really wants is to bleed prosperous nations to make up for its economic failures, and it's using the fabricated climate crisis as a weapon — a weapon provided by Western scientists who promote the global warming scare. The question is whether these scientists have been surprised that Bolivia, other countries and the United Nations would use climate change to squeeze capitalism, or if it were part of their plan to give them the means to wage economic war against developed nations. We've long known that the global warming scare is designed to cripple capitalism and redistribute wealth to poorer nations. Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the U.N.'s Framework Convention on Climate Change, has admitted this, as have others. Pushing America off its economic perch has long been a goal of the international community, as well as those in this country who fancy themselves as "internationalists" and "citizens of the world." The beneficiaries are the Evo Moraleses of the world. They can drive their countries deeper into ruin with socialist policies and still get bailed out by rich nations that are supposedly causing climate change. Morales — who might now be Bolivia's president for life — strong-arms a country that is rich in natural resources and therefore has no reason to be poor in economic terms. Yet it is. So how can this be? As Eric Worrall points out in the Watts Up With That blog: Bolivia's "poverty is a political failure, not a lack of opportunity." He adds: "Perhaps if the Bolivian government were to prioritize straightforward economic development and consumerism, and enthusiastically embrace profit making, rather than whining about all the stuff other people own," it might help the 17.3% there "who are currently suffering extreme poverty." But that would mean diminished power for Morales and those like him around the world. From their self-serving perspectives, the rational choice is to cast their nations in the role of victims and demand more from the nations that have let humanity prosper. That way they can exact money for their countries and keep power, too. For all this, they have a band of politically active climate scientists to thank. A socialist world where they tell everyone else what to do, what to buy, and how to live. |

I would suspect that you've missed out on several payments, Neut. It's too bad, but the truth is that your posts are not worth anything. Sorry about that. |

Poor Brewster, he can't comment on the information so he makes another of his patented personal attacks, and then follows it with another. How stupid is that? |

I commented as much as that so-called "information" was worth. And considering how you people have been acting recently, what you call an "attack" is actually flattery. When are you going to start posting honest commentary? It would be a refreshing change, and help to eliminate the insulting nonsense from both sides. |

You could just quit reading if you don't like what you read Brew. If you want to read trash only stick with your scammer's blogs. |
