Yes, I know.

She's set a record for the most major hurricanes in the Pacific this year, the longest lasting, most fierce droughts in California and Africa, highest global temperatures in 16 of the last 18 months, and is well into setting a new yearly high (the old one was just set last year), green grass across the Canadian prairies in November, forest fires, floods...

The list goes on & on, in spite of the Denialist scam claiming "there's been no temp increase in 17 years".

It is amazing that the AGW bunch will not read the history of weather or climate but think every thing they see today is something new.

Yes, you are. Have neither of you know nothings heard of the words "Record Setting", "Extreme", or even more, "Unprecedented"?

Sad, really. You two would fight 100 years of science and let your whole country collapse just so you don't have to give up your Right Wing ideology.

Record setting, extreme and unprecedented are not new words for climate. Try again. Scientists lie for grant money and politics. Try again.

See what I mean? He only goes back 100 years. Like that was the start of the world. I guess that is what the new religion tells him.

There is absolutely nothing we can do about the climate changes. Nothing. Plus getting any real and meaningful cooperation from developing countries won't happen. Sure, maybe a few inept promises they intend to break on the flight home. The best response on an individual basis is to map out a plan for you family.

Pat,
There is nothing we can do short term, that will change the current course of climate change, still worth trying long-term.

People will get some sharp lessons, El Nino is just one of them.
