President Obama is about to announce the "killing of the Keystone pipeline.

Well, his good friend, Warren Buffet will be so happy to hear that.

And, PM Harper and the newly elected Trudeau will not.

What can you do? Ya just can't satisfy everyone, but if Trudeau and Harper would have contributed handsomely to the Obama cause, as did Buffett, perhaps the pipeline would be going through and of some help to Canada's oil jobs and economy would be improved.

It's definitely not to late for the president to change his mind. It has happened before.

I hope Obama does kill it. It'll satisfy me.

And I don't know if he'll admit it, but I think it would be a great relief to Trudeau, who'll get rid of that piece of political poison without getting blamed for it.

Canada will wish they had that pipeline after Trudeau spends their money.

As I understand it, Trudeau expressed concern that Obama killed it.

Yup, that's what I expected he'd do. And that will be all he'll do.

It's the perfect political solution for a PM who got trapped into supporting something during a campaign that he didn't really want.

Are you saying that Obama acted against the interest of Buffet, one of his prime contributors? That's bad?

Harper supported the XL project as strongly as he could.... but Harper/Obama chemistry never agreed.
..and keep trudeau out of your arguement... he has only been on the job for 3 days.

He's a victim of the new North American political paradigm Jack, you now get attacked and criticized the first ten minutes on the job.
