Poll: 13% Of Syrian Refugees Support IS

A first-of-its-kind survey of the hordes of Syrian refugees entering Europe found 13% support the Islamic State. The poll should raise alarms about the risks posed by the resettlement of 10,000 refugees in the U.S.

The poll of 900 Syrian refugees by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies also found that another 10% of the displaced Syrians have a lukewarm, but not entirely negative, view of the terror group. That means 23% — or almost 1 in 4 — could be susceptible to ISIS recruitment.

It also means as many 2,500 of the 10,000 Syrian refugees that the Obama administration is resettling inside American cities are potential terrorist threats.

Potential terrorists, who could infiltrate airline food services companies at U.S. airports, for example. Just like IS operatives who last week blew up a Russian airliner, killing 224, after posing as airport workers at an Egyptian resort where the plane took off.

President Obama says we can screen out the bad apples, but the head of the agency that helps conduct background checks on such immigrants says otherwise.

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing last week, FBI Director James Comey confirmed our earlier reporting that the feds don't have the ability to do thorough background checks on the 10,000 refugees from Syria, where IS is headquartered.

In fact, he said no reliable database of information exists to screen refugees flooding the U.S. this year and next. "We have no information," he said.

If Syrian nationals haven't previously crossed the radar of U.S. military intelligence in Iraq, Comey explained, "there will be no record of them. ... We had a whole lot more information about Iraq because our soldiers had been there and had run into people and collected information."

Even then, terrorists get through the net.

Two al-Qaida in Iraq terrorists were mistakenly resettled as refugees in Kentucky. Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi were sent to Bowling Green even though they'd been detained by authorities in Iraq for killing U.S. soldiers.

Alwan had crossed the border into Syria. Still, both passed background checks and were declared "clean." They were then placed in U.S. public housing and afforded other welfare benefits.

While here, the two refugees plotted to obtain Stinger missiles and attack homeland targets.

Luckily, the FBI caught up to them before they could carry out their plans. They're now serving 40 years in federal prison.

A whopping 70% of the Syrians that we're letting into America are young men — the very profile of the IS terrorist. We are senselessly providing the enemy a prime opportunity to attack targets here.

Again, why are we doing this?

Why? Because Obama want's to fundamentally change the US. His stated goal. Note that he did not say change for the better.

If we are going to take refugees they should be vetted and required to have a career so as not to be a tax payer burden (that's what western European's who want to come here face).

That is what we should do with all immigrants in my opinion.

Think about the numbers if Obama gets his way and we bring in 100,000 or more.

One, it is my understanding that President Obama suggested bringing in only 20 thousand refugees. Two, that sounds better than Trumps plan to put Americans at risk by sending in our troops to establish ad defend a "safe zone" in Syria for the refugees.
