http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/03/30/REPORT-Obama-Admin-Released-Tens-Of-Thousands-Of-Illegal-Immigrant-Criminals

I'm not sure why we have a debate on immigration reform, it is near impossible to get deported once a person slips into the country. And remember the rationale that the Obama administration would focus enforcement on criminals, I guess the memo never reached ICE. They released 68,000 convicted criminals back onto the streets.

Another 872,000 ordered deported are still living here. This is the same manner that Obama's aunt and uncle gained legal status, they were here for 20 years after being ordered deported.

Secure the border and enforce the current law, and then come talk to us about reform.

If you wonder why Americans don't trust the government to enforce any new immigration law, this is an example of why.

Perhaps we should look at "the rest of the story" and let the statistics speak for themselves.

Why are you trying to spoil
a perfectly good Obama bash
by posting facts?

Pat, do you have some evidence that President Obama's Aunt and Uncle were convicted of some felony crime while living in the United States?

I looked for the thirty years of statistics concerning the number of illegal immigrants deported each year. Those stats were not there. I am disappointed. I would rather read facts rather than someone's opinions about immigration deportation.

Since Obama told them to ICE is counting people who are caught at the boarder and escorted back across. That is why the count has gone up. They were not counted before Obama.

"The number of deportations resulting from interior enforcement by ICE declined by 19 percent from 2011 to 2012, and is on track to decline another 22 percent in 2013.

In 2012, the year the Obama administration claimed to break enforcement records, more than one-half of removals attributed to ICE were the result of Border Patrol arrests that would never have been counted as a removal in prior years. In 2008, under the Bush administration, only one-third of removals were from Border Patrol arrests."

You are apparently quoting that from someone who you consider an authority. Who is that?

It is from that article you said you read.

Okay. Another appeal to authority. I still prefer the statistics which allow us to make our own rational judgments.
