Question. What, specifically, is/was/ the point of the OP?
I do not want to make a snide remark about Berton leaving prior to answering m question. I would really appreciate an answer, either from him or from someone who thinks they understand the point of the OP.
It is a troll! And you schmucks are falling for it. I will discuss rational stuff with Berton, but most things I stay away from. Why bother?
Thump, we are aware of that. With Newt its obvious, Berton is a bit more subtle, but once he starts to lose an argument or does not get the argument he wants, he falls into the act as well. Even in this case, where everyone on the left here agrees with him that this is over the top, he keep pushing. We agree, so that should be the end of it. In fact, in my case it is. Signing off this one.

It is a bit humorous that first we get a post about the evils of misinformation or misleading followed by a totally misinformed and misleading article about a member of the "left" opposing the publishing of misleading misinformation. I do enjoy ironies like this.

I guess that some might all those posts to which I referred as "ignorant." I wouldn't. I would just call them ironic.

There are always radicals, you should know, your political view point is rife with them. I try to ignore them all, right or left

I am glad to know you think Climate Progress' Joe Romm and NASA's James Hansen are radicals. When are you going to start ignoring them?

Grist.org's David Roberts called for a "climate Nuremberg," on Sept. 20, 2006, saying that "When we've finally gotten serious about global warming, when the impacts are really hitting us and we're in a full worldwide scramble to minimize the damage, we should have war crimes trials for these bastards - some sort of climate Nuremberg."

A bit of cherry picking by the author above? Here is what he said when accused of "doubling down."

I once said, and a lot of people (well, bad people, not any good people) got mad at me, that taking away the future of our children and grandchildren was a criminal act. Of course, you know it is. But in saying that, unfortunately, I can only be referring to “criminal act” as a metaphor, or perhaps as wishful thinking.

Ism't it wonderful what a little honest perspective does to propagandists?

It appears that cnsnews.com is attempting to do a hatchet job on most everyone opposed to dishonest climate change deniers. But the irony of their intentional misinformation and misleading is amusing.

Just where did I say those 2 were radicals? Please point it out. I will look, at what anyone qualified says. That does not mean they are correct or I think they are correct. There are about 3% of qualified peop.e who feel it is not a problem. While they obviously have valuable input, they are on the opposite side of the preponderancecof evidence. Afterall many palentologists stuck to the original theory of the demise of the dinosaurs even when it became apparent there was an Asteroid strike 65 million years ago.
