Obamacare leaves millions uninsured. Here’s who they are. When we talk about the Affordable Care Act, we mostly focus on the millions of Americans who will gain health insurance coverage. We talk less about the millions who will remain uninsured. And there are a lot of them: 30 million Americans will not have coverage under Obamacare, according to a new analysis in the journal Health Affairs. "Even if the law were fully implemented, there would have been 26 million uninsured people," co-author Steffie Woolhandler said in an interview Thursday. "This isn't just about the Medicaid expansion. This is the system as originally designed."..... LINK As I remember it we were told that all or nearly all of these people would be insured. Yet now we find out that we upset our entire healthcare system on a lie. |

I think this was brought up a couple of years ago here in discussions. About 10% of Americans will be uninsured and god only knows how many illegal immigrants. We broke the system and set the break with old masking tape. |

Wait a moment, can't anyone legal sign up? If they choose not to that is their problem, not the ACA's. Some people choose not to accept things they are entiled to. Nobody makes you be stupid. |

Then why is the ACA in place if everone had access. I had Americans coming up to me over the last few years wanting to know how to immigrate here because they could not access insurance. i guess they must have been lying. |
