Obama went on vacation. No doubt he will have several rounds of golf to show just how tough he is.

I forgot about Bush not being "tough enough" to take on Russia over the Georgia invasion. Perhaps he felt he had more pressing business at the ranch.

Remember him taking a vacation in the Caribbean during that time?

It sure is funny to read Berton asking a question and then labeling the answer a "diversion" or a straw man."

Hmmmm....... Another post about me rather than the specific subject. Typical of the extreme left wing.

Not about you, Berton. Rather. my post was about the hypocrisy in your posting. Sorry if it went over your head.

No, it was a post about me. So typical of the extreme left wing to not tell the truth.

Still another post about me rather than the specific subject. Are you going for a new record today?

Lets get this back up to see what you are talking about.

Now show where in the post YOU quoted where I said anything about a diversion or strawman.

Georgia started the war when it shelled the South Ossetian capital on Aug. 7 and 8, 2008.

South Ossetia, if I'm not mistaken, was part of Georgia at the time, a part that was trying to separate from Georgia. It only became part of Russia subsequent to the conflict between Russia and Georgia. Does this sound a bit like Crimea?

I believe that President Viktor Yanukovych left the Ukraine of his own volition and that a democratically elected parliament replaced him. Now some in Crimea want independence from the Ukraine and some want to join Russia. Sounds an awful lot like Georgia and South Ossetia to me.
