Sarah didn't make a Russian gaff.
I was referring to when she said she could see Russia from where she was. Paraphrased. It was an innocent gaffe. The press and liberals went after the governor and made her out to be an idiot. Not to mention making fun of her baby boy and daughter. And they are still doing it.
She didn't say it though. She said something like she could see Russia from Alaska which is true.
Saturday night live made up the part about seeing it from her front porch and Tina Fey said that, but the libs of course lied and said it was Palin.

RSPECT = moron Tom.
So misspelling a word makes one a moron? I suspect they have a majority, and it would be a landslide if it weren't for spellcheck.

Let he who has never misspelled a word throw the first stone. :tongue:

You know, there are lots of credible ways to criticize the president and his policies, but this isn't one of them.
According to the liberals, if you make a geographical error such as the Russia gaffe by Sarah, you are a moronic idiot. So why shouldn't I hold a guy who can't spell to a lower standard?
And, Pat, you claimed that the "liberals" were wrong in making a big thing out of that gaff. I assume that, in terms of consistency you will also claim that the right wingers are wrong in making a big thing oust of the President6's gaffe. right?
Errrrr, ahhhhhhhh, cough cough. :bounce:

Palin on many occasions showed her ignorance. And, instead of trying to learn, just keeps on winging it. That is in no way comparable to misspelling a word.

Just because your simpleton mind can not understand what she says does not mean she is showing ignorance.

Everybody has a certain ignorance about them, we can't expect a robot of perfection from politicians any more than from our family or neighbors. What you or I could laugh at in another because we know what they do not, they could turn the tables on us and do likewise. I expect leaders to be lacking in some basic areas of enlightenment, what I reject is a leader dictating to me a lifestyle that they believe is best for me. Which now days seems to be most politicians.

Actually newt is correct on that one. However she did refer to Africa as a country among other geographical gaffs.
