RVs seeing a surge in sales

I have noticed for this past year there are a lot of new RVs hitting the roads. Most seem to be 5th wheels. I also have noticed that the Canadians have been buying heavily for the past three years. Used to be the Canadians as a rule have had older outdated RVs. This has changed, they are now showing up in newer upscale RVs. Business must be good in Canada. :toasting:

Agree that 5th wheels are the way to go. We like the motorhome and will probably end up going to the grave owning it.

Our fifth wheel is tied down here in Florida
with hurricane straps.
For traveling, we prefer our
small, old classC.

I think the retiring baby boomers probably are driving a lot of the sales. Gas has went up quite a bit here lately, I hope it comes back down before our summer travel plans. If this winter is a sign of things to come, I think we will be making plans to head south in the RV for the winters.

I am friends with the owner of one US manufacturer. He told me he is having trouble keeping up with sales. Good sign of improving economy or confidence in the future. RV's and boats are the first to go when it gets bad and the first to get repurchased when things improve.

This year our company had 12 on a Mexican RV caravan. I already have 25 on the list for next season and we have not yet started to advertise or have even set the dates and route.

RV sales in Canada were doing well, not sure about now.

I do not miss my dp. But this class c I bought I love. Much more nimble. Use it for both business related events and to the beach for a day

Mine's 42 ft and I am in it for usually about 6 months so I like the room but I know what you mean about more nimble. I'm 70 ft with the truck behind it and sometimes it's a pain to maneuver.

Exactly, it was great to have the dp but I do not use it as much as you. The 27 foot with a queen is nimble and comfortable. You use it more for business also so its I understand the size needs. When I do a show I pull a trailer and this rv has a ton of storage underneath
