Back atcha, Ban.

Obviously you don't listen, you just pick words and apply your own biases.

DeBlasio said absolutely NOTHING to justify your opinion, except in response to what the US Right has already said..

Look at this sentence:
Quote:

the largely untold story is that voter turnout in November was historically low. Only about a million of 4.3 million registered voters showed up at the polls. Bill de Blasio won in landslide, but it was a landslide from a severely reduced pile of voters.

Are you telling me that that is just an unbiased commentary? That the Reps are ready to deal with the new man? They're already making excuses why he should not have been elected - sounds like a different variation on the anti-Obama Birther nonsense.

And you consider the Reps ready to work on a cooperative basis?

You're not that stupid, Ban.

Well, it's all opinion. For now, I'll put a little more weight on what I hear and see and my interpretation and also the opinion of Noonan over yours. If she is a far right winger, then you are a far left winger; but I think she has a bit of an edge over you on the workings of our government system and the happenings in New York City.

No body is making "excuses," just observations. And as far as cooperation goes, it's ridiculous, bordering on stupid, to believe that even moderates are going to "cooperate" with radical liberalism. The practice of "divide and conquer" by the left is their only hope and the approach that "the end justifies the means" BS. In today's divided parties, we aren't talking Bill Clinton here that the Republicans are dealing with. I suppose you could call it an "equal and opposite reaction."

Your quote above is a fact, not a bias.

Apparently the left thinks you get people to join with you by calling them SOBs.

The SOBs aren't going to work with you for any meaningful progress, so you might as well call a spade a spade.

Then the left has no expectation of cooperation and doesn't want any. All it wants to do is demonize and divide. I understand.

Perhaps true. But since his speech contains not a hint of "radical liberalism", I don't see that it's relevant.

The only liberal program mentioned is the pre- and post- school funding, but since that's nothing new, just replacing what was cut earlier, it's pretty hard to think of it as "radical".

The "jabs" your author is on about are simply the truth. If the "jabs" hurt, perhaps it's time the US Right did a little self-examination.

And if someone making over half a million$ a year cannot afford a $973 (maximum 0.2% of their income) tax increase, perhaps it's time they do a little self-examination there too.

And then it's time to pick on unions - yet another attack by the US Right on the middle class, the true Job Creators.

"Radical liberalism?" There's radicalism there alright, but it's not the liberals. Time to stop looking for that mote in others' eye, and remove the beam from your own.

DeBlasio is more than a radical liberal.
