Then why did the judge temporarily block the mandate?

Oh! And it didn't come from Fox... the link is from ABC.

Judges can be wrong too - I suspect that's why this one will be up for review.

BTW, what happened to the separation of Church and State? Believe what you want, and act as you want on your beliefs, as long as you don't break the laws of the land...

And, as the others have said, those medications are for more than just Birth Control, even conditions that may happen to Nuns.

Justice BlocksObamacare Birth Control Mandate (at least temporarily)

At least temporarily, Sandra Fluke, if she wants to continue on as a student at Georgetown University (or as an employee), will have to be responsible for her own means of contraception (heaven forbid, as a gross of condoms can be expensive depending on the type. I doubt she'd settle for Cellos Red X); or, using her attorney skills, enter into contract and levy a fee on her lovers to help defray the costs of her promiscuity. Temporarily, those religious affiliated institutions cannot be forced by Obamacare to include in their insurance coverage the cost of female contraception. It might be in her best interests to exercise some fiscal conservatism and think about transfering to a public university/institution where she can be covered by health insurance under the system of forced contraception insurance. Although, fiscal conservatism probably wasn't covered in her undergraduate work and may be a concept totally foreign to her.
1. Note that none of the material included in Ban's post, other than the thread title is from the link.

Doncha think if what I wrote was part of the link that I would have put it in quotes?

2. MR's question as right on target. I wondered the same thing, minus the name calling.

Yes, of course judges can be wrong, that is why the "temporarily" was put in. And, am I breaking the law for how I believe, or for what I write?

She blocked it to give the complainants time to appeal. I wasn't talking about your link, I was talking about your insistence that the law requires covering birth control when you know that contraceptives are used for other treatments.

MR, I'm letting you read the article and get from it what you want. The law as it was, mandating that religious affiliated institutions include "contraception" for females, was in affect until this judge made a ruling which is temporarily put into affect pending further review. Perhaps ABC is wrong about what they wrote. Birth control is included in "contraception."

But the ABC link didn't even mention what you posted about buying a gross of condoms. Why do you refuse t recognize the medical necessity of using "birth control" pills for medical reasons other than birth control?

But, it's the "birth control" part that the nuns and other religious institutions are concerned about which prompted the temporary "hold."

No, they didn't. Those were my thoughts, considering the fuss Ms. Fluke and the left winged hype that followed at the time..... for political purposes is my guess.

I am allowed my thoughts on the subject. But I ask again, what did I write that is untrue?

Addendum: And where did I write that I don't recognize using "birth control" methods to prevent unwanted pregnancies?

So now you're going to impose a whole new level of paperwork?

Some doctor will have to fill out forms to all concerned that say, "Yes, this is a Birth Control Pill, but it's not being used for Birth Control, even though it will work that way too..."?

And that doesn't solve the problem of separation of Church and State.
