They should go down because the Democrats promised they would. Either that or they lied to get enough votes to pass Obamacare. Which is it?

You still have the middleman in the equation. That is the problem. ACA was the best the democrats could manage to get passed. A step in the right direction, but far short of single payer.

The Democrats promised healthcare premiums would go down.
That's your perception, but is not based in fact. Many will get lower premiums because of the subsidies, but that doesn't mean everyone's premium will be less. Many will get better coverage. The dems said, and the CBO confirmed that it would reduce the deficit. I've pointed you to the website that answers that question, yet you continue to insist dems told you premiums would go down. A little exercise in self deception. Much like the birther nonsense, or the death panels, etc. etc.

“The other thing we’ve done is to say, what are the critical needs of small business? A lot of time, one of the biggest challenges is to make sure that you, as a sole proprietor, that you can get health insurance for you and your family. So when you hear about the Affordable Care Act — Obamacare — and I don’t mind the name because I really do care. That’s why we passed it. You should know that once we have fully implemented, you’re going to be able to buy insurance through a pool so that you can get the same good rates as a group that if you’re an employee at a big company you can get right now — which means your premiums will go down.” - President Obama LINK

"They will ask for repeal," Pelosi said."Repeal of all the things I said that help children, help young adults, help seniors, help men or women who may have prostate cancer, breast cancer, whatever it is, any precondition. And everybody will have lower rates, better quality care and better access." - Nancy Pelosi LINK

"I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2,500 a year." - President Obama LINK

So according to you all the above were lies?

Even the Dems would not have passed it had they known the truth.

Telco,

You pay $60 a month!!! Our health insurance is $1200 a month....I seriously doubt that my coverage is 20 times better than yours.

Health Care Capitalism in the USA apparently means "paying more and getting less.."

$1200 a month - <<< Shudder >>>.

My basic coverage is free. (Well, not really, it's paid out of oil royalties - Thank You America!)

I also have an extended plan that gives me an upgraded room for hospital visits, travel insurance, reduces all my copays on drugs, dental, eyewear, etc. to Zero - costs $115/mo. for the two of us.
