No ken. It is an aluminum cruiser style with gears and tires that basically come down to a very narrow tread where the rubber meets the road. I wish it was an electric/pedal hybrid.

When we lived in Northern CALIF I bought my wife an E-Bike to ride to work as it was only 1.5 miles each way. It was made by the company that Lee Iococah (SP) started after he left Chrysler. She really liked it and we gave it to her sister when we moved to WA.

Our big plan for the future is to take a trip to Scotland, our ancestral home, and spend a good deal of time there. To do the trip up right, I'm planning on wearing the full Regalia on a few occasions, Kilt and all. (For those who don't follow these things, the cost of the outfit is a significant part of the whole trip - at least $1500, easily up to $2500 or more, depending upon the quality) So my family chipped in with some of the minor pieces - my elder son bought me a belt buckle with the clan crest - over $200 for that alone!

Yup, a McMillan through and through...

That's the biggest problem with the Kilt outfit - spending that much money on one outfit - on anything, for that matter - chills my Scottish blood...
