I am absolutely astounded at the hypocrisy of the Right.
ACA had many bugs, and the US Right howled happily about that.
Isn't it something how the Left uses words like, "bugs," "miscues," "tweaking" to describe major "blunders" and constant "amending" in describing the design and implementation of Obamacare?
In response, Obama & Co are gradually correcting what they can with a series of permanent and temporary fixes.
and they use words like "gradually" where "constantly" would be more appropriate and "correcting" where "changing" laws are concerned.
So now the US Right howls about that.
Well, somebody has to try to have a sense of humor about all this well designed, and implemented, ever changing Obama legacy law. Have you ever seen anything like it? Besides, it makes the Canadians edgy and blind to all that's going on in Canada.... for the ones who winter in Canada that is, which is another laugher.
And of course, at no point do they come up with any ideas of their own.
Obama doesn't listen to ideas, he's got it all in is head.
It sounds like the plot for some second rate comedy.
The comedy is watching the Libs squirm over their "dream-come-true" leader trying to right his over wrong law. The gov. has run out of erasers.
Get your facts straight Brew. And nice spin attempt. When the right howled about the impending problems of ACa and wanted a year long delay or year long slow rollout, Obama and democrats said no and used the protest by conservatives as a means to try to kill off the tea party and politically damage the right. Fast forward to the actual roll out and as it became apparent that what the conservatives were yelling about was in fact occurring, democrat lawmakers in fear of their political lives began demanding Obama do what? Delay implementation and change things. The conservatives are now sitting in the peanut gallery, they figure the best way to end the madness is to let Obama and the left sink the ship. Next election cycle is going to be a bloodbath for the left. Stay tuned.
" I am continually amazed at how perceptive some of the Canadians are. They readily recognize the truth behind the Right Wing spin. It is almost as if they have been through such an encounter before." (they have, when Martin and Harper used fiscal conservative measures to pull them out of their financial doldrums and as soon as they can, they're going to get that idiot Harper out of their lives and really go liberal. If Greece can do it Canada can do it... and it shouldn't be hard, they've been there before. If Brew can remember 50 years ago when Canada's ACA was born, he can certainly remember how the fiscal libs spent Canada's way into hock 25 years or so ago.)Yeah, liberal Canadians are very, very perceptive. You'd swear that they are in direct contact with Obama on a daily basis.... the Congress should be so lucky. And, who knows more about just about everything than liberal Canadians, like they all have PhDs in multiple fu.
You know what amazes me? It's how liberals stick together on just about every debatable topic.... as if they are all related and must protect one another from anything "unliberal." They should be called "Liberals Without Borders" Apparently you've never been involved in setting up a complex software system, yet you act like you are an authority on them. If ever there was a comedy, it's your asinine posts.

No, I must admit, I know nothing about setting up a complex software system. But I don't feel inferior knowing that no one in the Obama administration knows any more than I do... OR, how to find someone who does... so what does he do???.. he contracts it out to Canada where he knows that all liberals there have a PhD in multiple fu.. which apparently includes "complex software systems."

The facts are Obicare is a disaster and Obi has no authority to change any part of it. Take away all the BS and that's the way it is. It is amazing how the left on this board try to defend him and the ACA.

Support for the Affordable Care Act has dropped five points in a month to a record low, according to a CNN/ORC poll released Monday.
The poll finds that just 35 percent of the public supports the law, compared to 40 percent in late November.
The drop in support indicated in the poll could be particularly troubling to the Obama administration because almost all of it came from women, whose opposition rose from 54 to 60 percent in a month. The administration has tried to highlight advantages for women, such as free preventative care that covers mammograms. Some of those who oppose the law, 15 percent of all respondents, continue to do so because they think it is not liberal enough. That means half of the public either supports the law or thinks it is not liberal enough.
Just 16 percent said they think their family will be better off when most of the law takes effect next year, a number essentially unchanged from earlier in the year.
Some Republicans have targeted the pledge to be able to keep one's doctor as the next assurance to be proven wrong. Still, 61 percent said they believed they can keep the same doctor.
The story is different when it comes to cost though, with 63 percent saying they believe their healthcare costs will rise under the law.

Of coruse some of us are smiling, I think it is a normal human reaction to point a finger and say "I told you so".

Isn't it something how the Left uses words like, "bugs," "miscues," "tweaking" to describe major "blunders" and constant "amending" in describing the design and implementation of Obamacare? Nothing unusual about it at all. As I've said several times, a system that large MUST have bugs, an ALWAYS takes months or years, to smooth it all out. Only someone lost in Right Wing hypocrisy would howl about SOP.
In response, Obama & Co are gradually correcting what they can with a series of permanent and temporary fixes.
and they use words like "gradually" where "constantly" would be more appropriate and "correcting" where "changing" laws are concerned.Same Rubbish as above. I know you want to find anything you can to justify your prejudiced and unfounded dislike of Obama, but this is ridiculous.
So now the US Right howls about that.
Well, somebody has to try to have a sense of humor about all this well designed, and implemented, ever changing Obama legacy law. Have you ever seen anything like it? Besides, it makes the Canadians edgy and blind to all that's going on in Canada.... for the ones who winter in Canada that is, which is another laugher.I know every time a Canadian says anything even slightly negative about the US Right, instead of coming up with a solution (because the US Right has none) you get defensive and try to find something similar in Canada, no matter how minute.
And of course, at no point do they come up with any ideas of their own.
Obama doesn't listen to ideas, he's got it all in is head. Pure BS, just more fact-free Anti-Obama nonsense.
It sounds like the plot for some second rate comedy.
The comedy is watching the Libs squirm over their "dream-come-true" leader trying to right his over wrong law. The gov. has run out of erasers.Same Sh*t over again. See above.

Next election cycle is going to be a bloodbath for the left. Stay tuned. Right Wingers are so desperate to tear down Obama they'll use anything at all to do it. The fact that a simple check with history will show every large project needs "fixing" is beyond their Ideology. As I said before, by this time next year, there won't be a Republican anywhere who'll utter the word "Obamacare"." I am continually amazed at how perceptive some of the Canadians are. They readily recognize the truth behind the Right Wing spin. It is almost as if they have been through such an encounter before." (they have, when Martin and Harper used fiscal conservative measures to pull them out of their financial doldrums and as soon as they can, they're going to get that idiot Harper out of their lives and really go liberal.Total BS. If Greece can do it Canada can do it... and it shouldn't be hard, they've been there before. If the "Libs" seem to be sticking together, it's because on many subjects, logic will always lead to the same result. It's the same reason we Canadians always seem to be on the same page, in spite of the fact we come from all over Canada, and rarely talk to each other. The US Right has no experience at that, as everything they bring up these days is based in Ideology, not logic.

The end justifies the means! And what will be the end result?
My prediction (just an opinion) is that by the time the nation suffers through Obamacare it will be ready to accept something, anything but Obamacare. Anything but this screwed up, confusing, life altering, job losing, cost increasing intentional mess. We will accept a "one payer system," with open arms just to get away from the drudgery of Obamacare.
Lying and deceiving the people as a means to an end.
Hopefully, when a one payer system arrives, it will be designed and implemented by someone other than Obama and the Left Nut Wing Party. Some fiscally conservative measures for a this social expenditure.

"The only ones who were and are "happy" about Obamacare are the left wing progressives"
Left wing progressives, would that be the opposite to Right wing regressives Of which you seem to have an abundance?
