Housing starts--

Every year millions are born in this country and many more immigrate here. The pent up demand for housing is a natural occurrence, the choice being sleep on a park bench in some cases, live with parents or family for others, or rent or own a place of their own. After years of stagnation, the demand won out.
Yes, stagnation brought on by republican policies such as not raising the minimum wage, cutting taxes, waging wars, implementing new entitlements like drug assistance and not paying for them. Not only that, but the reps failed to recognize the housing bubble and the financial shenanigans going on on Wall Street which directly led to the recession, loss of homes, jobs and a plunging stock market. Now spin all that away, Pat.

Don't forget foreign affairs, Obi has been a disaster there too.
Libs like Matthews are now somewhat turning against him, we do not get a good inkling of his support on this forum. I see libs every day on Fox that have lost it for Obi.
Fox wouldn't have anything but people like that on their air. Their sole purpose is to dis Obama.

That is so not true but I do realize you libs want to diss Fox because they tell you the truth.

This should be a new thread but the libs would trash the thread so I'll post it here. Even Obi's half brother says he's a liar.

Why do you keep repeating that Dem talking point which has been proven wrong so many times?

President Bush tried to make changes which would have prevented the housing bubble but the Dem's would not go along. They continued to support laws and regulations which forced the banks to make bad loans.

I hesiteate to say about those who post thread after thread bashing our President what the right wing ideologoes said when liberals did the same to or about Bush, that such posters are unAmerican.
Did you ever speak out about Bush policies? Was that un-American too?
That is precisely what several right wing ideologues on this and other forms claimed: that my speaking out against Bush policies was "unAmerican." I point that out only to once again show the ultimate in hypocrisy --the US right wing. Should we now say the same thing about members here who post thread after thread of Obama bashing?
I don't know or care what someone on another board labeled your posts. I happen to agree that you have every right to voice your concerns, post evidence supporting your reasoning and so forth. I too and many of my friends openly criticized Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and the rest of those clowns. And I don't believe we are un-American for doing so. It's our right and some would claim our duty to do so.

IOW, you disagree with those right wingers on this board who called me unAmerican for "bashing Bush" and now bash Obama. I understand that. You are an anomaly among right wingers.

Bush asked Congress repeatedly to deal with the housing bubble, they refused. Why libs keep lying about it makes my signature completely true.
