When ''tingle leg' admits this presidency is toast how far behind are the less enthusiastic supporters of the president? The next three years will be like having a sink dripping late at night, for three solid years. Grating, a feeling of blah, epic stagnation, like a long winter that never ends. Hindsight won't fix the pain, but it might be a stark reminder to voters in the next couple of election cycles that you just can't trust the democrats to get it right with a candidate. Not only did their machine politics give us four years of this failure of a leader, but tacked on in diabolical fashion four more. Now that is pain.

Anyway, here we are with America settling in for a long winter, one thing is certain, you can rest assured that before next Christmas season, there will be plenty more drama with this administration. I read today that the new healthcare law needed interpreted. Yep, the rules change weekly but the term used by a senator on the left suggests that these changes were already in the law, just not uncovered I guess. So the question to her would be, "exactly when will we know the true breadth of the law"? I don't know how an ordinary American can possible know what the hell is going on, other than that now it has become more confusing as we enter 2014.

Chris Matthews had some very bleak words for President Obama on Friday's "Morning Joe."

When asked who he thought were the "political losers" of 2013, Matthews declared that it was none other than the president.

The MSNBC host said it's been a "terrible year" for Obama. Matthews — who has been a vocal supporter of Obama in the past — sighed when Joe Scarborough noted that the president's second-term inauguration was just last year.

“It’s not just a bad year in terms of the rollout,” Matthews said, referring to the White House's botched attempts to implement Obamacare. “There’s an erosion in interest. It feels like a very long presidency now. It feels like the seventh or eighth year of a presidency. It doesn’t feel like the fifth. There wasn't that rejuvenation that comes with a re-election. There was no sense of wow. I think that's hurt him a lot."

He added that other presidents have made comebacks during the latter portion of their terms. "But he's gotta be better than that," Matthews said about Obama. "He's young. He's got to come back with some gusto and I don't see him rebuilding a team."

Matthews was very critical of Clinton too, towards the first of his second term, during the Lewinsky affair. Now, he practically drools over the Clinton's when he talks about them. Matthews is just a big mouth, rude know-it-all. I'm surprised that you would put in credence in what he says.

I don't put any credence in what he says and frankly, after these last two general elections, I just wish that at the very least the democrats choose a credible candidate. Quit going with the flavor of the times,

1. Gee, let's have a black candidate over Hillary.

2. Now let's have a female candidate over youth, we already went with youth with Kennedy.

3. Now let's have the rainbow clad gay-transgender candidate, give him/her/ whatever/ a shot.

4. Goody, now let's run with the autistic wheelchair bound disabled guy.

5. How about a new ager? Is Shirley McClain still around?

6. Don't forget the Native American-Oriental woman, they need a shot.

How about you liberals set al that crap aside and just give us a leader with a reasonable vision?

Okay, if you cons will give us something other than the dinosaurs you saddled us with so far.

I agree.
Times under Obama sure are tough.
Stock market highest ever, car and home sales booming,
Jobs lost under Bush returning,
interest rates remaining at reasonable levels.

Seems that everyone is becoming more satisfied
except the poor loser right wingers.

Lets do a poll, how many are better off than six years ago?
I know that I am!

Home sales booming?

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/sales-of-existing-homes-slowest-in-almost-a-year-2013-12-19

Mortgage rates?

Average mortgage interest rates inched up slightly this week, but remain under 4.5 percent for the most popular mortgage loan, Freddie Mac said Thursday.

The average rate of 4.47 percent for a 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage compared with 4.42 percent last week. A year ago, the average interest rate on that loan was 3.37 percent.

Keep trying Sea Dog, you might find one of your truths to be accurate.

"Sales of existing homes in November fell to the slowest pace in almost a year, hit by higher mortgage rates and low inventory, according to data released Thursday. "

Obama doesn't control interest rates or housing inventory.

I fail to find a single policy that the current administration has put into affect that can be directly linked to economic recovery. Sea Dog is happy as a clam, the poor and minorities are fed up with Obama. Where's that living wage? He seems more concerned about 11,000,000 criminals who live unfettered lives here than the plight of a blue collar fast food worker assembling burgers.

Obama doesn't control interest rates or housing inventory.
Housing starts jumped 22.7 percent to a 1.09 million annualized rate, exceeding all forecasts of economists surveyed by Bloomberg and the most since February 2008, data from the Commerce Department showed today in Washington. Permits for future projects held near a five-year high, indicating the pickup will be sustained into 2014. "

How many policies have the Republicans put forward?

Other than the proven-never-to-work idea of cutting taxes and regulations?
