Neutral,

You are right in that there will always be people who believe a con. The purpose of a con is to make money. In this case who gains? The deniers are almost all big oil and coal funded and their sole purpose is to make a profit. The scientists on the climate change side mostly work for universities etc. and do not receive any bonus or extra pay for their conclusions.

If you want to see someone who is being conned simply look in a mirror.

Scientists get all kinds of grant money. Don't kid yourself. Each paper they produce means greater possibilities for a raise in pay or even a higher paying job somewhere else. It is all about the money for them.

Berton, that is quite possibly the dumbest post you have ever made.

Virtually every top Climate Scientist could make far more in any other field, and could hit the jackpot working for the Kochs or ExxonMobil and claiming Warming is a fraud.

Deniers Well Funded

Do Climate Scientists make Lots of Money?

How Exxon pays Scientists to Trick You

We all knew you were an idiot before, now you've proven yourself a complete idiot.

Sure they do, but the big money is from corporate donations, and you can bet they have an agenda that does not include reducing harmful emissions, and they are certainly going to pour money at the deniers.. It the same sort of pay out that the tobacco companies used to try & convince people smoking as not harmful. If a scientist wants to make money he will join the denier camp.

Are you claiming corporates do not donate to greenies? Think again: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Fire_And_Ice/topic/5320938/1/#new

Here is the where the big money is and that is just the US part which is not hidden in other parts of the budget: http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/16836-govt-to-spend-twice-as-much-on-global-warming-than-border-security

God, you're Gullible, Berton.

Your Right Wing rag grabs everything that could possibly be called "Green", including industrial development, and sticks it in one big pot.

And you actually believe it's going to a few scientists?

That would be like me gathering up all the oil, gas, and coal subsidies and tax breaks, and claiming Anthony Watts and his crew got the entire pot!

Truly pathetic.

Yeah that is pathetic, Berton. If you are gullible enough not to beleive that the biggest poluters & cause of the problem are not pouring big bucks into the denier deception, you are far more naive than i thought. Especially when we witnessed exactly the same thing from the tobacco companies. i thought you would have woken up by now, instead you are falling for a very well funded snow job..

I coudl go on but you choose to ignore the obvious, anyway.

Wait just a minute. Ronald Reagan once played a Doctor in a TV commercial and told us that the "cool creamy smoke" of a Chesterfield cigarette was good for us. Are you saying that this isn't true?????

At least as true as the stuff Bertie spouts.

In fact, it was probably written by the same guys.

This is proof that climate scientists started the global climate change hoax 54 years ago...Now all they need to do is discover the motive as to why 98% of all climate scientists joined in this massive conspiracy and Fox and Friends can close the case.
