How does this site look for being factual and unbiased on gun control?

So Don wants to know about my guns. Both 12 gauge shotguns. One a Harrington and Richards Bolt action with an improved cylinder choke. The other is a pump gun my father purchased from Montgomery Ward with full choke.

Does this give you something to yap about, Don? You see, I do remember your attempting to insult me on another forum. That does seem to be you SOP. When faced with nothing to defend your asinine and ignorant statements, you immediately resort to insults and name calling. Enjoy!

A thought--

I think it is odd if Colorado teachers were to oppose a law that allowed them to bring a gun to school. I would also think it would be odd if a teacher did bring a gun to school and was not properly trained to handle it.

With a society that has been in decay for decades and the fact public schools reflect just how crazy and violent younger people can be, why would a teacher want to risk their life and the lives of their students in the event of a school shooter showing up? I mentioned this the other day, the reason the recent incident at the school was somewhat contained is because the school guard was armed. The very fact that teachers would have guns would tend to dissuade someone from entering such a situation with the intent to attack anybody.

Pat,

Neither my wife (she reads the daily paper) nor I have read that the school guard was armed. Please provide a link. On the other hand the "Community Liaison Officer," a member of the Police Department may have been armed. That person is trained and undated and tested as a police officer, neither a teacher nor a custodian, the first person encountered by the shooter at Arapahoe High School..

Strange that the only solution,
according to the pro gun faction,
is more guns.

Sort of like proposing increased speed limits
to cut down on traffic deaths!
