Because we know from experience that the articles you post have nothing worth discussing.

Okay, now would someone like to address the topic?
What will it take is the question.

I've thought about this for awhile now and have come to this conclusion. It will take a near collapse of the country. That's right, a near collapse that shakes everybody to their bare bone roots.

The problem we now have is that Obama is an expert at campaigning and messaging. He won that battle hands down. You have to give him credit, he has turned any and all negative comments into this

1. His enemies and distractors, including all conservatives and republicans are racists.

2. That there is a war going on against the poor and disadvantaged and he and his polices are their only hope.

3. That the reason his policies fail is because his opponents poison the well, it's his opponents fault that the healthcare rollout is a failure is one recent example.

4. And he is the blamer in chief as one scribe noted. Every failure and every misdeed is a conspiracy against him and somebody else is always to blame. And once in awhile he will issue a couple of word comment that it's his fault, which is them followed by ream's of propaganda that it is really his oppositions fault.

Let's take this article as an example, I believe I'm the only member here addressing the subject. The rest of the posts are mirrors of Obama's messaging. Remember, he won the messaging battle.

So in my opinion here is what you do. Some call it tough love as practiced with raising kids. You quietly remain strong in your own beliefs and never give an inch of 'enabling 'help'. Since the message is that Obama knows what's best, then just stop criticizing him. Get out of his way.

The best example would be the healthcare law. It's his law, his promises, his statistics, his experts, and his framing and messaging. What will it take? Just quietly get out of the way and let him destroy it. You don't issue any negative comments, again, he won the messaging war. You sit in silence with your arms across your chest. Let the man have at it. Let the law speak for itself. When he begins campaigning for new funding as it sinks in a sea of red ink, you ignore his campaign and offer a couple of sentence replays such as--

"congress is now focused on addressing other policies that the president has proposed. We are deliberating his plan and are tied up in researching and in offering suggestions". or something like that. Remember, the message is that the law is a winner and is working as advertised. You might know what is reality, but again, he won the messaging war, it's time to sit tight, keep quiet, and every now and then issue a pointed question. No criticism---just a question.

Ohh, that's not true. There are quite a few who are not. Unfortunately, the people paying for the messaging on the US Right know that as long as they keep that attitude on the down low, Nobody can prove anything, while the subtle racism is exactly the kind of message the base likes.

BTW, your claim that Obama turned the discussion is a total lie. It's the US Right's own words and actions that did that.

2. That there is a war going on against the poor and disadvantaged and he and his polices are their only hope.
He never said that. But it's true.

3. That the reason his policies fail is because his opponents poison the well, it's his opponents fault that the healthcare rollout is a failure is one recent example.
BullSh*t. To the extent that his plans have failed, it's pure Republican obstructionism.

4. And he is the blamer in chief as one scribe noted. Every failure and every misdeed is a conspiracy against him and somebody else is always to blame. BullSh*t. He does no such thing. The Non-Right media that does that - and they're correct.

Let's take this article as an example, I believe I'm the only member here addressing the subject. The rest of the posts are mirrors of Obama's messaging. Remember, he won the messaging battle.
More BullSh*t. Obama has never commented at all on Neut's idiocy. And up until now, that's all we've done.

I wish that was what would happen. But it won't. Obstructionism will continue to rule..

< On my unofficial post rating scheme, this one barely rates a 1. >
