Boonies is my term. Her and her husband built a home on 90 acres of land somewhere outside Peterborough, Ont. I've never been there but she has sent pictures and the land is heavily wooded.

How close are you to Atikokan Ont? We have flown out of there several times to remote cabins (with wife) and canoe trips (with sons).

Very close. I was just in the 'Choke' for some exhibition hockey games with my son. About a 2.5 hour drive.
