Pat,

I not sure what it was you were trying to say with that dialogue about a "bastard." Please explain.
I wonder what these red-blooded American conservatives would do if our government all of a sudden decided to oppress that group of people, put them in prison for saying some of the things they say, torture them, kill them, take away their firearms, confiscate their property and generally make life unlivable for them. Do you suppose they would resort to terrorism?

Hey I don't have a problem with what the guy did, my own ancestors were terrorists in Ireland and here in America. All I was doing was adding some perspective and facing the obvious attempt to white wash over what the guy was in the eyes of his country, while he was a terrorist. What is wrong with calling a spade a spade? You guys get so sensitive and offended by some of my remarks and posts, I show you where the president is a liar and you go ape crap. Nelson dies and Neutral labels him for what he was and you do the same. It is what it is guys.

You have yet to show that the president is a liar. What you have done is make that claim, without knowing all the particulars of each situation. Mandela was a terrorist in the eyes of the white population of South Africa, but he certainly was not a terrorist in the eyes of his own people.

If he had not resort to violence at times, S Africa would still be a racist aparthied state. Same with the US, you would still be a colony. I do not see any Americans labeling the key players in the revolutonary war as terrorists, so why would somebody use that label on Mandela, who like Washington, turned into a statesman and instituted human rights & freedoms. Mind you, he is black.

You can bet if the British had got their hands on Washington in the early 1770's , he would have been hung as a terrorist.

So I think we have agreed he was a terrorist, he killed many innocent civilians. Well most of us anyway, Colo doesn't think he was, Telco has played both sides so I'm not sure about him.

Now I'm left speechless.

That's a good thing.

Posted before I thought about it, so I edited it.

I guess, from your posts, Pat, that you support terrorism, at lest in the cases of Ireland, the US Revolution and Nelson Mandela. I wonder if you speak for the right wing on this forum. Somehow, I would guess that from those posts of Neut that have been copied and posted that he will never admit to support any of those "terrorist" activities.

As to us "going ape," I would think you might want to either retract that or attempt to justify it with more right wing spin. How about it?
