That Pat is another example why this board is dying. Nothing but name calling and insults going on by childish liberals.

You have Neal and Colo backed into a corner on this one and in the past that has devolved to name calling and wild eyed requests. It is what it is Berton, put them on ignore. Why get upset over a post by somebody who asks to prove your claim? Universal healthcare sent shivers to the bones of republicans in graveyards let alone alive. And you were correct, the Obamacare compromise legislation passed while Obama had control of both houses. Minimum wage increases would have been easy compared to passing the hot button healthcare legislation, which had us all worrying about creping socialism. Remeber this Berton, once a guy starts resorting to name calling and such, they lost the debate.

Pat,

You have my attention. Just what "corner" do you think Berton has me "backed into?" Second, what name calling have I been involved in today or for the past month for that matter? I think you made up that accusation out of whole cloth. Why did you do that?

On edit,Pat, I have to say that your lying, bias, and hypocrisy in posting has become a joke. The following is the only rational way I can find to deal with it.

doglaugh doglaugh doglaugh doglaugh

Do you really think your snide remarks aren't name calling Colo? Do you really think no one notices how you try to blame others for what you do?

Geez, Pat, your losing it. Please explain what corner either Colo or I have been backed into? Certainly, it hasn't been by Berton. All he's done is make up stuff and tried to present it as fact. Colo and I called him on it and he can't deal with that, so he complains to you about insults, and dammit, you fell for it.
You should know, even if you don't, that the blue dog dems were not going to vote for the ACA unless is contained some of the things that conservative dems wanted. Obama can't make every dem vote like he wants them to. So, saying he could have passed anything when the dems controlled congress is ludicrous on it's face and reflects the bias conservatives have come to be known to exhibit and as Colo says, you have become one of the worst..

I notice how Pat avoids the namec alling from the right.......I thought he would man up and lay the rules across the board

The economy is getting better despite the right wing agenda to destroy this country
Yes, the economy growing stronger in spite
of the antics of the GOP,
shows the inherent strength of the country.

Makes one wonder what would happen if the right decided to assist
instead of opposing any and all proposals by Obama and the Dems.

I heard it said on one of the financial news channels last week that the economy is getting better for "Wall Street" but not for "Main Street." That it was getting better for the big investor, not the middle and lower classes or the average working (and non working) stiff. It's getting better for the very people the left complains about.... the filthy rich.... and worse for the very people they claim to support, Joe Blow.

But any "news" that take attention away from Obamacare is "good news."

Yes, it's the greedy rich bastards that are doing well because they refuse to pay Joe Blow a living wage and you guys support that, then complain about everything.

Not so! We all would like to see a fair wage based on skill, supply and demand, and preparation, a fair tax system, equal opportunity for all, equal effort by all, shared responsibility by all.

You use that fair wage argument based on skill, supply and demand to deny those who are less skilled an opportunity to make a living wage. What do you suggest we do about those who don't meet your requirements?

You libs need to spread you wealth to those folks you're talking about. Be more charitable. Set an example for WalMart, Kmart, Kohls, MacDonalds. Shame them.... and don't buy from them. Don't drive your cars, or buy GE products, or listen to NBC because their parent company pays no taxes. Do something.

I think you need to ask Colo that question. He is the expert in education. He'll have the answer on how those unprepared, can be prepared via education.
