Canadians are two faced when discussing fossil fuels. the nation has the dirtiest product in the world and one of the worse environmental nightmares under construction. And then points it's fingers at other countries. go figure.
And you guys want to transport that crap through my state so the Canadian oil companies and the Texas refineries can make billions of dollars. Talk about two-faced.

:teeth: Your state. You've been in Nebraska since noon yesterday and you're calling the cornhusker state "your state." :bounce:

There is so much oil in that state now a little more won't hurt.

Actually, I've been in Nebraska, off and on for seven years. It is my state. We don't need the pipeline because it will benefit neither the state nor the country and might cause great harm. What is it with you guys when you see that the pipeline will benefit only the Canadian Oil Companies and the Texas refineries and China, do you think it's a good idea to build this pipeline?

Hows many long term jobs are we talking? How about the putrid air generated by the refinery?

I don't know how many and it's a pipeline not a refinery.

I understand that crude is to be shipped over the pipe for 'refining' in Texas. Not so?

No I don't, we have enough of our own oil and the amount is growing by the hour. I want Canada to quit trying to poison my family.

Yes but we already refine oil in TX. Nothing new just more oil.

I thought that true conservatives take care of their own family. Why should Canadians do it for you?
