| Do you think there is a snow balls chance in hell of Obamacare ever being repealed; Paul Ryan thinks so | |

Today in an interview, Chris Wallace from a talking head network interviewed the house financecommittee chairman, Paul Ryan of Mitt fame. The republican house budget proposal assumes that Obamacare will be repealed. and replaced by a republican plan. I think most agree that the current law needs some drastic revising, but does any sane American believe that this law will ever be repealed? Get past any and all challenges, filibusters and games? Somebody needs a reality check. It should be embarrassing as a finance committee chairman in congress to soldier on, wasting taxpayer funds and valuable congressional time with a bill that is going nowhere. And one as important as the budget. I hate the new law, but I'm a realist as I assume most are. This is like repealing social security or medicare. It will never happen. the country would go broke first. There is barely one or two sets of balls in congress, political suicide is most often thwarted by a visit to a psychiatrist. And some slip by, thus an early retirement. sitting down in a group and addressing the real issues that we know will be harmful for the law as it is implemented is a better plan. Opps, did I say better plan when discussing congressional leaders? Question, will the current law ever be repealed? If so how? If maybe is your answer, what would this depend upon? |

Not a chance. Too many millions need it. But I can imagine it being streamlined, made much more cost efficient. |

I'm not sure we have the players in our congress who are willing to agree on any streamline ideas being passed. Which is pretty sad. |

Obama care is the best chance that America has of catching up with the rest of the western world concerning health care for the masses. |

It will not be implemented as written, what will be done is anyone's guess. |

I doubt it. When the Democrats get control of congress in 2014 which will happen if the reps do not clean up their act, he may even be in position to start implementing single payer. |

Single payer. I have been hoping for this in the very beginning. The big health insurance companies have been making billions in profit |
