A good point Corky were it not for the fact that Direct TV like other programing sources, soaks consumers to the max for the remotes. Have you priced one?

But there is work boing on here. Each penny saved is working for the saver. It's also being loaned by the banks to others for business growth and home buying. Then after enough pennies are saved, plus the interest, the saver can buy something he/she has saved for without going into debt. It's called "living within your means"..... unlike our country's government.

Solid signal had them on sale for 4.99 a piece several years ago.I bought 4. $19.96 including S+h. Cheap enough. Even came with batteries.

I think we paid over $40 from Direct TV.

I think we paid over $40 from Direct TV.
Direct and Verizon are the best of the worst. This year direct will be gone and dish may be our new service when we travel. Just gotta find a TV service for the house that will allow off and on service with broadband included. The broadband with Verizon on the road is good but pricey and nothing like wired service.
BTW the Tracfone works great and Verizon will be gone soon.
