The film is a bit over the top from what I've heard, but essentially accurate.

Poor Bertie doesn't understand the "Anthropogenic" part of Global Warming.

Climate doesn't just change for the H*ll of it, something has to force it. If you don't accept that WE're doing the forcing, you're a Denier - another of the Koch brothers' (greedy lying bastards)dupes.

Oh, by the way, a new group has done their own work on past temperatures, and have realized that Micheal Mann didn't really "get it" when he published his hockey stick.

Here's what they found:

Now THAT's a Hockey Stick!

Neut, you didn't need to post that. We already knew you were one of the Koch brothers' most gullible dupes.

You keep crying it's all a scam, but in all the years you've hollered, you've never come up with a scrap of proof. Meanwhile, temps keep rising.

I read the article and find it lacking in common sense and logic, here is why. As climate changes, so does the relationship to weather regionally or area wide. Climate is affected by a host of variables, sun activity, polar shifts, gravitational influences, and the living organism that inhabit the environment. So say that greenhouse gases caused by human activity has zero influence on the climate is just plain nonsense. A 1st year chemistry student is exposed to experiments that prove the relationship between carbon pollutants and their heating affects on the atmosphere. The degree of human activity is directly related to the affect. I wasn't aware anybody would still dare argue against these facts. Facts because they can be repeated in the lab.

Taking this a step further, with climate change comes a change in wind patterns high in the atmosphere, comes a change in water temperatures, water being the major cover of the planet. And water warming changes currents. Result, well naturally the conditions that could spawn hurricanes and other storms would still be around, but exasperated in some regions and lessened in others. Intensity too is affected. We have had on rare occasion a level 5 super hurricane, it could be that in the future, level 6,7, and 8 might become a reality. If they do, it's curtains down for the areas affected. Winds exceeding 300 mph, and common on other planets, could become commonplace on this one. With level 5's being normal. In other words extreme events.

As of yet, we have not experienced rising sea levels is often used as a debunker of climate change. How silly. Any college science student knows the fresh water is different in volume than salt water. There are vast open waterways and seas where ice was permanent just a few years ago.

I don't mind a logical and well reasoned argument where people discuss science, but not the bs I read and hear. 6+trillion campfires on the planet, soon to be 7 billion have an affect on climate. Adding three or four more industrial based countries has an affect.

No I'm not a scientist, but I'm not a guy in denial. I doubt anything is going to be done about man's affect on climate changes, not until the compounding affects that increasing fresh water has on seashores. It's too over powering for those in the know to admit or address. When Manhattan and Toronto are faced with funding dykes and levees as last ditch options, and winter storms destroy even more infrastructure, is will be sadly too late. Money and resources will just be gone and base survival the norm. In a way, I'm glad I'll be out of here by then, but my grandkids won't, which bothers me.
