Neultral, I have asked this before and not received an answer. Just what do you think the "other game" was? |

Pat, Didn't Holder say that there may be circumstances that would warrant the use of a drone attack in the US? Obama said that drones would not be used against citizens who do not pose an immediate danger. This is the "deadly force" law of the land. |

Yes Ken among other things. I don't believe in killing Americans unless they are actively killing other Americans. Preemptive is out in my book. Now tell me this, why did Holder need to suggest the use of drones would be legal and even bring up the point, were he not really saying this would be an extension, a power grab that superseded as you say, the deadly force laws? We all know there is nothing inherently wrong with a drone as a tool, provided it is operated legally and within the constitution. No need for his voiced opinion. Some here can blast me and Neutral and label us nuts, which is fine, I know my position is and has been logical and in support of our constitution, the rule of law, and freedom. Some here can play silly games and introduce silly debating tools if they want, in my opinion is is no more than a smoke screen. Easily laughed off. |

Has anybody here said they thought the government has the right to kill people who are doing nothing wrong? The scenarios I brought up were all involved with active criminals in the act of committing a heinous crime in which many people would be killed or injured as a result. I don't think the killings at Ruby Ridge or Waco were justified based on my limited knowledge of the situations, but the ex-cop in CA who was killing other cops and innocent people was an instance where I think government has not only the right but the duty to end it whatever it takes. If the occasion arose where a drone could have protected lives and the government didn't take the necessary action, you guys would be all over them for that. |

I don't know about you Neal, but there is just something distasteful to me to have our police and federal government employing drones over American territory. Some cities have backed off on the idea. It's '1984' like. |

How do you feel about the use of robot cameras that also include a weapons platform? Personally I am all for using the method that poses the least amount of danger to the innocent and Law Enforcement. |

I guess I agree with you about that, Pat. I can understand the use of some surveillance equipment, but simply flying over and spying on people indiscriminately is offensive and should be illegal. Like searches, there should be some reason for the surveillance other than just routine. |

I'm not familiar with the camera system you speak of. Could you be just a little more clear as to how it is employed? Where is the platform? |
