So I was right. you haven't read their statements.

When you do, and start posting rational, fact-filled articles instead of childish Right Wing fairy tales, I'll start giving you an adult name.

Facts, we need facts. Prove your point. Give us examples.

Why? You would just deny the truth as you always do.

But you could always look up post #7 in the 1970's Global Cooling Compilation.

Still waiting for the fact which prove your point in your first post. And waiting. And waiting.....

Since I gave it to you, I must conclude you cannot read.

Here's a second one: This one

Since experience tells me I could give you a dozen, and you still couldn't read them, I guess you'll have to go on waiting.

And play your childish games, as usual, Bertie Boy.

Or you could look up This one
Nothing there which says Pat does not think it will not effect him.

Still waiting for that proof.

Oh, so you cannot think either?

Unless he spells it out in exactly the words I used, it means something else?

You would reach a new low in my estimation if you weren't already at the bottom, Bertie child.

Dear child, you have yet to show even one post where a conservative on this board indicated that:

There seems to be an increasing number of people who believe that climate change is real and will 'decimate' the global human population, but not substantially affect themselves.

No where does Pat say or even indicate that it will not substantially affect him.

Keep trying though, it is fun to see you :spinning:

Another insult without showing any proof of the original post.

actually it was a statement of fact, you have never posted anything to indicate you are anything but one dimensional.

If the climate shifts to one where agriculture, fresh water, and major sources of fish and other edibles is stunted and factory farming is no longer viable, it will take possibly 100,000 years to regain what is being lost. Americans and other western societies have become a greedy, self serving, hoarding brood. The problem here is that we are not as bad as the climate and it's affects can be. It could take decades before the yearly affects have done their deed. It's easy to just poke fun and ridicule at the warnings, after all, several generations hence will begin to bear the full brunt of change. Hell, they can care less about protecting medicate and social security for their own kids, let alone kids in their genetic line that won't be born for 50 years. The bottom lie is, protect your immediate family and set in place assets and an escape hatch for the grand kids. Moving to a more friendly climate is one change. Somewhere that has or will have less consequences to the weather. Crop insurance and private and government insurance will soon be history. The amount of devastating events does have a sunset clause whether in your policy or not. When the money to pay claims is a fraction of the need, you will be on your own. It's just the way it is, so we should deal with it rather than thumb our nose. Unless we can give a rats ass about the grandkids.
