I'm glad they are using some common sense for a change.

This is designed to worry folks about the bad guys carrying sharp knives on the planes. A little hysteria and folks might scream and holler . I wonder if they are still stripping old ladies to make sure their medical devices are not torpedoes.
I'm beginning nah convinced our govt. is comprised of 4 year olds only without brains.

Kind of on the subject; my son just took a job that is going to involve lots of travel. I didn't know this but it is possible to get some kind of clearance so he doesn't have to stand in line for the TSA.

the terrorists took down 4 planes on 9/11 with a 1" blade
Razor blade knifes and box cutters are still prohibited.

I do agree though that no knives is a better policy.
I know, my point is they are allowing a 2" blade and the towers were taken down with a 1" blade

You do not stand in line but you still go through the same screening process

I hope we don't start questioning the foresighted wisdom of our government officials.
