I don't think the Jews were the primary victims of the Nazis. There were many millions of non-Jews killed and no one seems at all concerned about them. The Holocaust was a terrible thing, but it is only considered the worst of the Nazi atrocities because it was aimed at eliminating an entire group of people.

Your assertion that Obama has been taking his case to the people is exactly right. He has learned that trying to deal with the reps in congress is a losing proposition, so he appeals to the people. That's the democratic way. Are you now against democracy, Ban?

What were the "millions" of non-Jews killed by the Nazis. I provided several links in the article I posted, I'd like to see yours.

His taking his case to the people is fine, but he is/and has done it in the way that you defined... "vilification to gain support"

If we listen to Mitt Romney today on the Chris Wallace show, we may hear hear criticism (taking a case to the people) that is not done in a vilified manner. And we may hear how his failure in his bid for president may be described as "my fault" instead of everyone else"s fault. Wouldn't that be refreshing.

I didn't say that. But, telling it like it is is not vilification. It's educating people in the whys of his inability to do anything in the face of republican obstructionism.

Your article is discribing "acts of war" not acts of Hitler's Nazis. The holocaust and the murder of 6 million Jews was not an act of war.

What difference does it make what you call it? Those people are just as dead. And, by the same Nazis that massacred the Jews.

I suppose that you don't see the difference.

How long are the Jews going to ride this thing?
Hopefully forever. The attempt to exterminate a race of people is an event in history that must NEVER be forgotten.

Have you forgotten some of the African massacres that attempted to erase a race of people? Why do you only remember the Jewish holocaust? Are you equally as adamant that we not forget the Stalin massacres of his own people or our devastation of the native American tribes?

No, I have not forgotten the attempts at "ethnic cleansing" in the recent pasty. Let's hope, that like the Holocaust, we will never forget them either.
