I'm not sure just what all these Jews did to deserve this.
Holocaust Researchers Catalogue Nazi Ghettos; Numbers Are 'Unbelieveable'

Researchers from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum have concluded that over 40,000 Nazi camps and ghettos existed during Hitler's reign of terror between 1933 to 1945. The total is far higher than most historians hadpreviously estimated,, according to The New York Times. Geoffrey Megargee and Martin Dean, the lead editors of the project, have compiled the thousands of sites in a multivolume encyclopedia that is being published by the Holocaust Museum. Each volume catalogs thousands of sites, providing a comprehensive history of the "living and working conditions, activities of the Jewish councils, Jewish responses to persecution, demographic changes, and details of the liquidation of the ghettos." The Holocaust Museum team also created maps of the sites, which were scattered across Europe, and which imprisoned or killed between 15 and 20 million people. Essentially, this study shows the Holocaust was far more extensive than even historians comprehended. Hartmut Berghoff, director of the German Historical Isntitute, said the research is simply astounding, reports The Times. "We knew before how horrible life in the camps and ghettos was," he said, "but the numbers are unbelievable." The researchers' work may also help Holocaust survivors attempting to sue insurance companies or recover stolen property. "How many claims have been rejected because the victims were in a camp that we didn't even know about?" said Sam Dubbin, a lawyer who represents survivors. Over the years, many scholars have worked to uncover the lost or unknown victims of the Holocaust, and some have insisted the death toll is higher than what the textbooks say. The number of Jews killed is often listed at around six million. Father Patrick Desbois told the London Times in 2009 that after years of investigating mass graves in Ukraine, he feels the death toll should be revised upward. This latest research is yet another piece of evidence that can be used to refute the fringe movement that continues to deny the Holocaust took place, or that its terrible legacy has been exaggerated for political gain.

While Jews were the majority of victims of the 3rd Reich, many other groups were singled out for elimination. Gypsies, the mentally ill and old folks that were a burden on society.
This can happen when a political entity uses vilification to gain support. We see the milder version going on right now in this country with the rights vilification of democrats as all liberal commies who hate the country or welfare reciepients as lazy good for nothings voting for a free handout.

You will never admit it but that is exactly what Obama has been doing (but in a not so "mild" version), and especially during his state by state campaigning recently. And the followers are sucking it up as the people in Germany did by the rhetorically, charismatic speeches by Hitler.
Your calling in the Gypsies and mentally ill can be another example of a nation believing in a ruler such as a Hitler. But it certainly doesn't diminish what happened to the Jews in Europe, who took the main brunt, in numbers, of a egomaniacal, charismatic orator.

But it certainly doesn't diminish what happened to the Jews in Europe, who took the main brunt, in numbers, of a egomaniacal, charismatic orator. I don't think the Jews were the primary victims of the Nazis. There were many millions of non-Jews killed and no one seems at all concerned about them. The Holocaust was a terrible thing, but it is only considered the worst of the Nazi atrocities because it was aimed at eliminating an entire group of people.
Your assertion that Obama has been taking his case to the people is exactly right. He has learned that trying to deal with the reps in congress is a losing proposition, so he appeals to the people. That's the democratic way. Are you now against democracy, Ban?

What do you think? Do you think that I too am an antisemitic? Is that supposed to insinuate that I'm anti-semitic, Ban? Your article refers to the numbers as "unbelievable". Are they unbelievable to you? If so , I can only assume you are a holocaust denier.

How long are the Jews going to ride this thing? As long as it benefits them.

Obama has been criticizing the GOP, a political party. That is not the same as vilifying groups of people like the GOP has, like the low information people, the so called commie/liberal connection those voting to ensure their government benefits, the "union thugs", and there are numerous other examples. Tune into Fox or Rush any day and such blather continues unabated.
