You proved my point MR.
We are borrowing money because we are spending too much money, it is really very simple.
BTW, these "cuts" are not really cuts, they are cutting their proposed spending.

Cuts are cuts. I know you have drunk the kool-aid, but not spending what you intended to spend is a cut any way you "cut" it.

Yes, if I tell you I'm going to pay you $150,000 next year and then I come back and tell you I can only pay you $125.000 that is construed a "cut" in the libs book.

It seems to me on a personal basis if I need to spend more than I make, I have three choices. One, I can not spend what is needed. Two, I can reduce expenditures elsewhere. Three, I can increase my income to meet my needs. If I am attempting to pay off an old debt incurred primarily by others, the best solution to do do all three things.

We did raise taxes. We have not cut spending significantly or even at all.

Which part do you think is wrong. It's a fact that we raised taxes in January.
Tell me where we have cut spending significantly.
