Don't pay so much attention to the source and think more to the content.
the content will reflect the biased views of the source, so it's important to know where a quote comes from. It's pretty obvious that the quote in question is from a right wing source.
You decide. Argue the content.
Nope! No source, no arguing about the quote. It could have been written by a first grader. Certainly it wasn't written by an intelligent person, Which makes me suspicious of why you chose to post it.

Never mind. I found the source. It was Peggy Noonan in a right wing op=ed piece in the Wall Street Journal.

Hmm. I kinda like Peggy. She certainly is intelligent, so I will retract my comment about that, but she is extremely biased toward the right, which explains the tone of the quote.

I think ending one's consideration on the source rather than the content is jus an easy out.

If she wants to keep working for Rupert Murdoch, she'd better lean as far right as possible.

In fact, a blinker on the left side of her face would be a good idea, just in case some idea that's merely right-of-centre tries to sneak in.

Why would I want to argue what is only someones biased opinion, when I can't even know who that person is or where they are coming from politically?

She appears on Morning Joe fairly often and occasionally leans a little to the left and seems to be somewhat reasonable in most cases. She is definitely a rightie though and makes no bones about it.

I think I know know why you refused to provide a source or link. You didn't want folks to see just how biased the author was.

Are you res using to provide the source? Ws it just a right wing email? If not, then there are regulations of this forum to follow and giving credit is one of them.
Do you find fault with the summation? If so, how?

You too are missing the point.
