MODERN LEFTISM AS RECYCLED FASCISM By: John J. Ray (M.A.; Ph.D.) Mussolini's own summary of the Fascist philosophy: "Tutto nello Stato, niente al di fuori dello Stato, nulla contro lo Stato" (Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State) A Leftist prophet The ideas of Benito Mussolini (1883-1945), the founder of Fascism, are remarkably similar to the ideas of modern-day Western Leftists. If Mussolini was not the direct teacher of modern-day Leftists, he was certainly a major predecessor. What Leftists advocate today is not, of course, totally identical with what Mussolini was advocating and doing 60 to 80 years ago in Italy but there are nonetheless extensive and surprising parallels. Early in the 20th century, he prophesied that the 20th century would be the century of Fascism and he got that right in that most of his ideas are still preached by the modern-day Left....... LINK |

Where the heck do you dig up this crap Betrude? Talk about revisionist history. Trying to re-label Mussolini, one of the most right wing dictators in modern history as a leftist. If this was not so pathetic, it would be funny. What next? Hitler as a friend of the Jews? |

Berton First it's liberal = communist. And, now it's liberal = fascist? In reality liberals advocate things like FDR's new deal, neither of which is facist or communist. You subscribe to some real lunatic fringe ideas. |

Bertie is a master at trying to make right, left. He is not the first perosn to try to revise history. I have seen people trying to claim Hitler was left wing as well. I may as well try to Marx look right wing. It's just as ludicrous. |

No, all he did was give us his left wing liberal/progressive/socialist/communist opinion. Worthless according to another liberal on this board without facts to back it up. |

You are so good at twisting established facts you make Goebbels look like an amateur. Hey I think I just gave Bertrude a compliment. Sort of. |
