Sometime my faith in human nature is restored. yesterday a Canadian RV'er in diesel filled up at the Pemex station just north of town & used a credit card. The attendant (a 30 year employee) accidentally rang through 10.50 pesos instead of 1050 pesos (about $100). In Mexico that sort of error gets deducted form your paycheck. $100 is a lot of money to an average Mexican worker. the story appeared on a local forum for this area and we had no trouble raising the money from Canadians & Americans here.

Chances are the guy who filled up will not notice the error until his bill comes through, if then.

I would guess about $20. I always tip them about $2 and they seem real happy.
