Not in the desert Brew unless you are talking about high tension transmission lines to population centers.
We need to invest in rebuilding the electric grid anyway. Now's as good a time as any to start.

The grid in the US is at least two generations old. It needs serious upgrading.

Why, it's almost as bad as the Canadian grid.
