Just read Bob Woodwards new book and Peggy Noonans column today. Both will sum up the campaign and leave no doubt who is in the drivers seat. The cartoon are funny, but after a chuckle, Americans know which side of the bread the butter is on.

Don't be so sure about that Pat. I will still be surprised if Obama is still not president after Nov 6. I would not be so bold as to put money on it, but that is my gut feeling.

(yes I know he technically will be on Nov 7th no matter who wins)

Nothing surprises me anymore Telco, but for the sake of our country, I sure hope you are wrong. As it stands, the republicans in congress have witnessed a moderate member of their party go toe to toe with a sitting American president. If Obama is elected, he will not get any traction out of congress unless the proposals are revenue neutral and focused on what conservatives believe are important issues to take on. The healthcare law will be de-funded, much like the Yucca nuclear dump has been under the democrats. There will be no tax the rich class warfare bills sneaking. Forget immigration amnesty in any form, that is dead in the water. Forget any bailouts or bloated do nothing job programs. In other words, unless the president is willing to leave the trench line, he is dead in the water. Chained up. And impotent. Americans know this and if they want to move ahead, which has been Romney's mantra all week long, then they will stuck in the mud. Christ, we would be approaching $22 trillion in dept if Obama were to have his way, and that is totally unacceptable.
