Praise Obama. With all that the Republirats throw at him he continues to show his greatness. I have a dream he will be chiseled into Mt. Rushmore one day.

Oil is an international commodity. next we will be hearing the drill mantra from the right. Fact of the matter is oil goes where the demand is and the price goes along with it. nearly all oil from the Keystone pipeline if it gets built will be transshipped to Asia. Oil conglomerates are in the business of making the biggest buck they can, not in lowering pump prices for American consumers. The fact of the matter is the resource does not belong to the citizens of the country, it belongs to multinational corporations who don't give a damn about the citizens of the country, and owe no loyalty to any particular country. They are an entity in and of themselves. If they had existed in the 1940's in the form they do today, they would be selling oil to the Nazis' if the price were better..
As long as there is more oil put on the market to bring the price down why should we care where the refined produce ends up?

How much of the crude oil in the world is owned by the oil companies?

It sure is nice having the 2 nut cases on ignore, I see them posting here and have no interest in what they are saying. Its nice to discuss issues with people here who have some intelligence.
