Strange how opinions differ.

Three or four years ago we traversed the Pacific coast hyway as far north
as the Columbia river.
I am happy that I saw it,
live in that clammy dampness,
no way!

I always wanted to see the mouth of the Columbia river.
I once crossed it near the source in BC,
it was about ten feet wide.

The last few years of my career, I spent a lot of time in Vancouver on business.

I can remember waking up several nights in my hotel room, shaking from nightmares of drowning.

The humidity really got to me.
