I think Tom, if you read Obama's 20 point pamphlet that outlines the goals he has for America, even the democrats will reject most of it. Maybe the problem here is that Obama is out of touch with both the republicans and democrats. As far as the rosy picture you show for the stock market, you forgot to mention that the pedestrian investors have been bailing out of it for years now. $400 billion in their investments left this year alone. Yea, there are still some diehards that are long, but most in the know expect them to take a haircut shortly. Earnings are just not justifying the market rise and today it was reported the More than 20% of CFO have been cooking the books by an average of 10% in earnings. Anyway, read the pamphlet. |
