We all choose how we use the 24 hours in a day Sea Dog. Some of us have better use for it than weeding and washing vehicles.

Aside from a bag of fertilizer every couple of years,
I spend nothing on my lawn.
I can mow it with a push mower in an hour.

Of course I wash my car, truck, and RV in my driveway.
A shot of my wifes dish soap, the only expense.

I was brought up to not pay for what I can do myself.

Fifty bucks a week, I dont think so.
PAt was doing the fuzzy math like romneys claims of creating 12 mil jobs

its 60 a month, not even 15 a week but I gave him the 15 a week

BTW, a few day ago I talked to a guy who has about 50,000 dollars invested in lawn mowing and transportation equipment and employs a small crew during the summer months. He told me what his gross was for the average summer and the gross didn't begin approach anything near 8.000 dollars. I also doubt that most of the current unemployed have access to 50,000 dollars to invest. I hesitated to post this because I was afraid it might go over Pat's head. LOL No, seriously, I rather imagine Pat is fully aware of his folly in proposing providing 12 million jobs mowing lawns for $80,000 dollars a year.

Come on Colo, the guy could hock his lawnmowers in the winter and buy a snowblower........or big umbrellas in the rainy season to cover the rich, like Pat, who do not want their huge lawn being overwatered.

Pat looks down on folks who he imagines have puny lawns

$50K for a startup lawn business is ridiculous. You can tell libs have no idea how to start a business.

One additional comment about Romney's "plan" to create employment. When ask for specifics in one of the debates, he clearly said he could not give specifics until he had worked them out with the Democrats in the House and Senate. Now, people are claiming he has given specifics. More flip flopping or another attempt to airbrush history?

He gave as many specifics as possible and a helluva lot more than Obie.

$15 a week? Must be the neighbors ten year old kid. But it was big of you to give him a tip. Now go call a yard service company and see what the real world of lawn care costs. You crack me up Joe, gas is near five bucks a gallon in SoCal and you expect us to believe a lawn service company will drive out to your place, mow, edge, and feed your yard for $15 bucks. I paid $300 to have some brush hailed off to the dump.

Anyway, back to reality, a hard working lawn maintenance guy or gal will earn more than a public school teacher.

Thank you Berton. I agree with most of these points, especially in training for skills needed now and trade with So America. Most of the points are common sense, lets hope they can be initiated.
That's an agenda and not a plan. A plan explains how things will be done. An agenda just lists things we'd like to see done.

mow edge and feed? Mow, edge, blow and go. Yes Pat 15 a week, actually 60 a month. Thats what it is Pat. If he won't do it for 60 someone else will. This is a white american born here citizen. Not that I care what color someone is, I know the right does.

300 to haul brush to the dump is realistic, high but realistic
