That's correct, Cappy.

But of course, it's simultaneously wrong, because Pat tells us oil production is soaring.

But it must be right, Bertie just said "Obama has curtailed much of the oil exploration and production on federal lands and offshore."

But it must be wrong, because Pat just posted "U.S. production of crude and other liquid hydrocarbons is on track to rise 7 percent this year to an average of 10.9 million barrels per day. This will be the fourth straight year of crude increases and the biggest single-year gain since 1951."

But it must be right, because Neut and others have told us the Oil Business can't expand without further tax cuts.

See? It's all crystal clear, just like Romney's fairytale Five Point Plan.

Bertie, George Orwell would love you...

Wikipedia

Doublethink, a word coined by George Orwell in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, describes the act of simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct, often in distinct social contexts. It is related to, but distinct from, hypocrisy and neutrality. Its opposite is cognitive dissonance, where the two beliefs cause conflict in one's mind. Doublethink is an integral concept of George Orwell's dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. The word doublethink is part of Newspeak.
Apparently the child called Brewster can't read either.

If we are to become an oil exporting nation then we should be pulling out of the middle east and allowing it to fall in to chaos in order to maximize out profits and minimize our costs, doesn't seem to be on Romney's plan. Seems to me that as a secure oil source in a peaceful area we are wasting lives and money that could be better spent. A nuclear war between Iran and any other party party in the area should boost oil prices nicely. Let the free for all begin and get the deposit slips ready.

Yes, Pat said oil production is soaring. But he did not say production is going up on federal lands or off shore now did he?

Yes, I said Obama has curtailed much of the oil exploration and production on federal lands and offshore.

Priviate land - Public land and off shore. There is a difference in case you didn't know.

But I am sorry if that is so complicated that you do not understand child. Perhaps you need to go talk to your mommy and have her explain it to you.

It sounds to me Corky, that Romney is not stupid by withdrawing all our advisers. We still need the oil from there until we have drilling and recovery of oil going on in the areas the government has refused access to.l This will take some time to ramp up..

What we don't need is for that other plan of Obama's to take affect. You know, the one where he wants to ramp up funding for the EPA, so they can do what they can to halt fracking on private property. Make no mistake about it here Corky, Obama wants to shut down fracking. And Obama is focused on green energy at the expense of the energy we now have available. Read Mitt's five step plan, the part about energy independence.
