Those are the words of a loser, make no mistake about it. A winner would never express those sentiments to the team, in the heat of battle. With Rasmussen showing a 50-46 ;lead for Romney and Gallup at 51-46, and given we are now in the critical period where minds are being made up, I think Obama has mentally tossed in the towel. Watch the donations dry up now. Obama: 'Michelle and I Will Be Fine No Matter What Happens' in the Election 12:22 PM, Oct 23, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER Single Page Print Larger Text Smaller Text Alerts In his latest fundraising email to supporters, President Barack Obama says, "Michelle and I will be fine no matter what happens" in the election. Instead, Obama's trying to win the contest "for our country and middle-class families." Here's the full pitch: I don't want to lose this election. Not because of what losing would mean for me -- Michelle and I will be fine no matter what happens. But because of what it would mean for our country and middle-class families. This race is very close. I'm not willing to watch the progress you and I worked so hard to achieve be undone. Time is running out to make an impact -- please don't wait any longer. Donate $5 or more today: https://donate.barackobama.com/Two-Weeks I believe in you. If you stick with me, and if we fight harder than ever for the next two weeks, I truly believe we can't lose. Thank you, Barack P.S. -- I don't know what Election Night will hold, but I'd like you to be a part of the event here in Chicago. Any donation you make today automatically enters you for a chance to meet me -- airfare and hotel for you and a guest are covered. |

I guess it's time for me to cut him another check. It seems you missed the point Pat. Obama is saying he wants another term, not for himself, but for the country. It's pretty obvious Romney's running because he wants to be president, and is willing to sell out to the far right to get the job. If Romney gets elected who knows what will happen. If he is moderate Romney he will have the same problem working with the Tea Party that Obama has had. If he is pressured into being severely conservative Romney, things will go from bad to worse, guaranteeing dem wins in 2014 & 2016. |

Obama is a man who sticks to his principles. Mitt will stick to the principles of whatever man is closest to him at the moment. Edited by Brewster, Oct 24 2012, 02:28 AM.

Pat, of course he will be fine, as will you! It is the millions of middle class and poor families who will suffer under a right wing government for whom you should be concerned. Can no one remember back four short years? Is that what you wish on your country and fellow citizens? |

The only one that isn't true is he did take the auto industry into bankruptcy. It would be a lie to attribute that statement to him. Delusional is one who believe this phoney caricature. |

A moderate is not sitting in the oval office Tom. Romney is a moderate that has shown he can work with the opposition. 87% of Mass. legislature was democrat. I repeat, I would fire an agent of mine that wrote a letter like this. It shows no confidence but a lot of desperation. Groveling comes to mind. I can't believe a sitting president with all the power of office is reduced to begging for money at the last minute. The party just borrowed $15 mil. from BofA. Obama should be coasting to another term in his 4th year of office. But go ahead and toss him a few Bens Tom,

Caught in your own lie, Pat. You just proved Democrats are sane. Not one of them said "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for Governor Romney to be a one-term governor." If the Republicans in Congress had the same attitude as thre Democrats in Mass, you'd be out of this recession already. But of course, that Black Boy would be sailing into the election with a 20 point lead. McConnell was never going to stand for that. The situations are not similar at all. |

I will prove you wrong in a few weeks Brew, as the next cast of presidential contenders on the democrat side start lining up and blasting away at Romney, if he is elected. I hope you will have the decency to apologize for calling me a liar, that was a low blow and i was surprised to read it coming from you. |
