I don't think so. Ask MR, he said he went snipe hunting. If you go, take a flashlight and an old feed bag. Sit quiet and be patient. If you're going, do it in a corn field on a night rain is expected, maybe you can kill two birds with one stone. Trouble is, I don't think snipes are found much in the far north country; but, you could hunt side-hill moodies instead which are plentiful in your neck of the woods. |

We used to see an occasional snipe in the marshland around ponds on Long Island, but I don't think anyone hunted them. It's also a fun class of racing dinghys a couple of friends used to own. We'd go "frost-biting" in them on Long Island Sound in the middle of winter. Hang your butt over the side when hiking the boat and have a wave slap your ass and you find out why the winter sailing is called "frost biting." |

You actually can hear the Northern Lights. I've never had the pleasure, but it is a real phenomena: Link I did hear a sonic boom from an incoming meteor once many years ago. |

I too have heard the Northern Lights, very eerie sounding. One day I will have the pleasure of a guided snipe hunt. |
