why does anyone waste their time with the idiot above. Just stop replying to him. Let him post all the crap he wants, do not reply to him. When you stop replying it will kill his huge, overly huge ego. This is a man who received not love from his parents, probably an orphan abused by a catholic priest at some point in his life. Ignore him

lol
Because it's too soon to take Nute back off ignore for a few minutes and see what his latest piece of mindless drivel is?
it is kinda funny to read this idiot. If he was even slightly less certifiable......................

He was "attempting to provide material support to al Qaeda." It doesn't say he was a member of Al Qaeda or was working under the control of Al Qaeda. Doesn't say he had any contacts with Al Qaeda, knew anyone who was a member of Al Qaeda or had even friended Al Qaeda on Facebook.

"the Presidents statements about al Qaeda were implying there is not longer any danger to the US from al Qaeda because of the actions he took." If Nafis wasn't a member of Al Qaeda, the president's statement is correct.

Go ahead and prove the association between Nafis and Al Qaeda. I think it would have provided far more entertainment value if he said he was "attempting to provide material support for the Southern Baptists." Alas, you can't always get what you want....

When the left has no reasoned answer they always seem to resort to childish hate and insults.

The President said he had al Qaeda on the run. Why are they running to the US?

According to the criminal complaint filed today in the Eastern District of New York, defendant Nafis, a Bangladeshi national, traveled to the United States in January 2012 for the purpose of conducting a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Nafis, who reported having overseas connections to al Qaeda, attempted to recruit individuals to form a terrorist cell inside the United States. Nafis also actively sought out al Qaeda contacts within the United States to assist him in carrying out an attack. Unbeknownst to Nafis, one of the individuals he attempted to recruit was actually a source for the FBI. Through the investigation, FBI agents and NYPD detectives working with the JTTF were able to closely monitor Nafis as he attempted to implement his plan.

Again, a nobody, Nafis, "reported having overseas connections to al Qaeda..." We have a lot of people on here who report connections to god. Does either claim make them true?

He "sought out al Qaeda contacts within the United States..." So, either he put an ad in Craigslist, posted a tweet to @alqueda or never got any support, in terms of a contact or two, from al Qaeda, his seeking out apparently didn't turn up a single contact. He was reduced to asking people if they'd like to find the parts for a bomb and blow up the NY Fed.

There has yet to be introduced a single piece of evidence that any connection existed between Nafis and al Qaeda except in his fevered imagination.

This does not mean such a connection doesn't exist. It very well might. But making that claim on the basis of what has been reported in the news is silly. And to extend it to some moronic statement that al Qaeda is running, RUNNING, I say, to the US is (I'll be polite) unwarranted.

We know from Libya and this incident AQ is not on the run, Obie said that for political purposes.
I also heard Lindsay Graham say yesterday that Iraq was full of AQ who are training. Now even a weirdo would know what they are training for.

The complaint alleges that Nafis proposed several targets for his attack, including a high-ranking U.S. official and the New York Stock Exchange. Ultimately, Nafis decided to conduct a bombing operation against the New York Federal Reserve Bank. In a written statement intended to claim responsibility for the terrorist bombing of the Federal Reserve Bank on behalf of al Qaeda, Nafis wrote that he wanted to “destroy America” and that he believed the most efficient way to accomplish this goal was to target America’s economy. In this statement, Nafis also included quotations from “our beloved Sheikh Osama bin Laden” to justify the fact that Nafis expected that the attack would involve the killing of women and children.

"While Nafis believed he had the blessing of al-Qaida and was acting on behalf of the terrorist group, he has no known ties, according to federal officials."

Al Qaeda is a movement as much as an organization. You don't have to have contact with other members to be a member of al Qaeda.

But the real subject is why are they still coming over here when Obama said we have them on the run. Do you have a answer for that?
