Clueless Bertie again.

Read the truth on the other thread, Bertie.

No money was wasted - it was used to build plants, which have now been purchased by Johnson Controls, a stronger American company, who will undoubtedly make even better use of them.

A company went under, the production goes on. Not one taxpayer penny lost.
Really? How much was paid back to the US Treasury?

Maybe the Obama administration didn't realize (or look into the possibility) that the "electric" car industry wasn't advanced enough in many ways to warrant anything more than research in "better batteries?"

Everyone knows that we must try to be ahead of the game but to do so in the best, most efficient way. Germany couldn't afford to throw the kind of money we have at such alternative energy sources yet they appear to be on top of technology. Private industry can sort it out. Government just mess it up and are so wasteful.

The person saying his name is Brewster, acting like a child as usual, is acting as the expert. He needs to answer don't you think?
