The whining from the Right should be surprising. It isn't. It just supports the observation about how poor winners and losers the Us Right is. I am disappointed in the US. Right. I understood their ungracious attitude when Romney won, but the whining when he lost surprises even me. The whining does provide support for just how badly the US Right thinks Romney lost the debate.

It is quite obvious that either the President lied about saying the attack was by terrorists in the Rose Garden or he and his administration lied for over two weeks saying it happened because of a film including a speech at the UN. You can have it one way or the other but you can not have it both ways. In one or the other Obama lied. That mistake may well have cost him the debate, and possibly the Presidency, by itself.

I did see Candy call Romney on some of his worst mischaracterizations.

From what I could see, the difference in timing had more to do with Obama explaining his points, and Romney just making the usual Right Wing unsubstantiated assertions. It takes much more time to tell and explain the truth than it does to say "trust me".

As Mark Twain said:
Quote:

A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.

Overall, I thought she called it fairly evenly, not letting either candidate get away with much.

I guess that's what p*ssed off the Right so mightily.

Of course you ignore the fact of Obie getting more time, Romney getting interrupted three times more than Obie and Crowley helping Obie with the Benghazi question. LOL

Nope, but Romney did the same thing. It was fair. It was a very heated debate. How come you are not over the moderator of the first debate for letting Romney gettign away with Gish Gallop? Or do you only think fair is if a moderator calls Obama on everything and lets Romney get away with murder. Somehow I suspect that is how your mind works.

The fact is Obie got more time in the first debate too. lol
Crowley's interjection on Benghazi last night was unprecedented bias, at least I don't ever remember a mod doing it that blatently.

You have ignored every point raised since last night Colo, with that post. I don't look at this as a loss for Romney so much as a loss for democracy. My complaints have to do with the moderator. Obama did good with her support. Romney was interrupted by the moderator 28 times last night.

Secondly, if last night did result in Obama turning his election chances around, those people in last night's audience lost big. Those young people, college age and in their 30's, will see a country in even worse shape come four years from now, if Obama wins another term.

Yep, all three debates have been unfair along that line. And that is too many for it to be coincidence.

Yep and remember when Obie whined to Crowley about time. She said she was watching closely, well evidently she was telling the truth and made sure Obie had more time. The media took another big hit with this bias, Fox will gain more viewers.

You know I am not American. I can look at it more objectively. I was first to admit Romney won the first one. Obama one this one. Not as decisively, but he won it. Initial polls agree with me.
Sorry I'm a little behind on this thread.... you suggest that because you are not an American you can look at our political issues objectively. But you have done so with an obvious lean to the left.... from the time I first read your postings. That's okay, and I do enjoy your postings; but it's not an politically unbiased objectivity. You, Brew and Sea post about the same. We don't hear from the more conservative folks in Canada, they just aren't bothering to spend time on these American political forums. But, we so realize that they are there in great numbers as Canada's policies from Martin on have been very fiscally conservative and have been well tolerated by the Canadian citizenry. Our liberals would not tolerate such fiscally conservative policies as our fiscal balance shows.

Telco has been spewing liberal BS for years and now he's trying to convince someone he's not biased. Now that is funny.
