Actually I would call it a tie also, at least as far as performance.

Romney has yet to adequately explain how he is going to get all the money for the tax cuts, and increased military spending and still balance the budget.
What increased military spending?

Mitt Romney: Grow military spending, build new ships, planes
Text Size PrintE-mailReprints
By Philip Rucker, Published: October 6, 2011

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney stepped aboard a World War II-era aircraft carrier docked here in Charleston Harbor on Thursday to deliver a forceful defense of military spending.

During an era of fiscal austerity in Washington, Romney said he wants to grow the nation’s defense budget to help fund an expansion of the country’s aging Navy and Air Force fleets. Romney said he would like non-combat defense spending to rise from 3.8 percent of gross domestic product to 4 percent.

“People say to me, ‘Well, gosh, Mitt, isn’t there a lot of waste in the Department of Defense?’” Romney said. He acknowledged that there was, but added: “With those savings, I don’t want to take those dollars and send them out to social programs as the Europeans have done, shrinking their military year after year after year.”
Instead, Romney said, he would commission new ships and aircraft, as well as grow the ranks of active duty personnel by about 100,000.

“We all recognize that America needs to economize, but I don’t believe that we can economize on securing our nation and protecting our citizens and ensuring that the world remains safe and free for us and for our children,” said Romney, a former Massachusetts governor and businessman.

Romney gave a 15-minute address before a few dozen veterans on board the USS Yorktown, which has been decommissioned and is now a floating museum. He is not the first White House aspirant to use the ship as a backdrop. Another Massachusetts politician, Sen. John Kerry (D), officially launched his 2004 presidential campaign with a speech in front of the USS Yorktown.

In his remarks, Romney cited Defense Secretary Leon Panetta by name, saying he disagreed with the Obama administration’s proposals to trim defense spending. He criticized Obama, too, calling him part of a “class of permanent politicians” whose policies are slowing down the economy.

Of course to be fair, Mitt may have been just tailoring his position for his audiance. He tends to do that.

I didn't know until last night that President Obama was so big in supporting and even developing the carbon energy fuel (oil, coal & gas) for which our country could be energy independent.

The President said it was an act of terror before he said it was a demonstration gone awry and before he changed it back to an act of terror and before the administration said someday they will find the real truth...... then, they will make sure that the American people will be the first to know. (Like we don't know already) :bounce:

Obama lied about Lybia.

whats lybia
Typical question of a lib.
I have no idea what lybia is
It became clearly obvious that Romney either didn't know what he was talking about or was lying about what the President had said in the rose Garden concerning Libya. That mistake may well have cost him the debate, and possibly the Presidency, by itself.

It is quite obvious that either the President lied about saying the attack was by terrorists in the Rose Garden or he and his administration lied for over two weeks saying it happened because of a film including a speech at the UN. You can have it one way or the other but you can not have it both ways. In one or the other Obama lied. That mistake may well have cost him the debate, and possibly the Presidency, by itself.

Perhaps Mitt Romney's either being uniformed, misinformed, or just lying is something about which to laugh. The mistake Romney made was not to say that the President did not call it a
"preplanned terrorist attack."
That would have been a true statement. But, to say the President did not6 call it an "act of terror," appeared to be from either misinformation or just lying. That6 kind of reckless statement by a Presidential candidate is simply scary.\

BTW, the act occurring during a demonstration does not suggest it was not "an act of terror" or terrorism." For the Administration to wait until it actually had all of the facts, to call it a preplanned act of terror just demonstrates good judgement and restaurant -- the very opposite of what Mitt Romney demonstrated during the argument in the debate.
